Shrimp paste sonata is a multisendory smell-and-sound-installation and a tribute to the legendary stinky! shrimp paste – “mắm tôm” of Vietnam. The two flying objects resemble the fly chasers that one can see at any market in Vietnam. The audience can interact with the installation using a magnetic pick up to detect the changes in the magnetic field around the “fly chasers”.
